Dated: 3rd June, 2015. The Government of India has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Development Project (APMDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The Consultancy Services for preparation of DPR for Comprehensive Planning of Storm Water Drainage System in Venkatagiri Municipality. This study will assess the existing Drainage System in the above ULB and develop service improvement plan to improve the system performance, covering capital improvement; technical, financial and managerial capacity improvement; to enable the ULB deliver the desired services in the immediate / short, medium, and long terms. The consultancy services contract is for a period of 3 months. The Project Director, Andhra Pradesh Municipal Development Project, Hyderabad now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Service(Branches, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of approximate skills among staff, financial etc). The short listing criteria are: The firm should have at least 5 years standing in the field of consultancy and an average annual turnover of Rs. 1 Crore in the last three years. Relevant experience in the last 3 years with clear documentary evidence of the lead firm. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to the paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection And Employment Of Consultants Under IBRD Loans And IDA Credits & Grants By WORLD BANK Borrowers January 2011 Revised July 2014 ( “Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest . Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications. In case any firm wishes to associate with another firm, it should inform in their Expression of Interest about the nature of association whether as joint venture or as sub consultant. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
