Whoa! June is here!
I hope you'll take a good look at this newsletter and
make note of all the different things planned for the
summer. With Annual Conference taking place here in Puyallup at
the Washington State Fairgrounds, there is a great opportunity to
see more of our broader church. The worship services at Annual
Conference tend to be fantastic and moving; it always feels good
to sing along with hundreds of other United Methodists. I hope
you will choose to attend at least one of the worship services.
Rumor has it that some of our own musicians have been asked to
help provide music.
If you are looking for ways to get more involved in ministry or get
to know others in the congregation, please plan to work at
Vacation Bible School, or mark your calendar soon to attend one
of the Fellowship BBQs on July 23rd.
One great way to meet others will be to attend worship this
summer. Starting June 29th, and throughout the summer, we
will have a single worship service at 10:00am which helps us see
those who normally attend the opposite worship time . Mix up
your seating arrangement, and get into a conversation with
someone you rarely get to speak to during the year.
Blessings on youPastor Molly
