Principal’s Message Welcome back, I trust everyone had a wonderful holiday. With the starts and stops to the school year, it always seems like whenever breaks are over, we hit the floor running. January is a busy time for high school students. Final Exams for grades 10 -12 begin on the 26, be sure the check the exam schedule in this newsletter. Parents can help their children prepare by checking to see if they are reviewing throughout the month for about 10-15 minutes a day. Keeping information fresh will help retention. I want to welcome Stacy Keith to our school. Mr. Keith will be taking over Kelvin Scansen’s bus route. We wish Kelvin well in Swift Current and thank him for all his years of service. Proud Predator Moments Jevin Astels has been a great addition to our school. In his short time here, he has become entrenched in our school. He participated in the Missoula Theatre as an actor, helped prepare the Dinner Theatre meal and helped put away and move chairs after Saturday’s performance. It is always exciting to hear from our grade 12s as they get their acceptance letters from Post Secondary institutions. Ben Cloutier and Jim Sadden have been received acceptance letters from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Engineering. Ashley Fournier has been accepted to the Medicine Hat College’s Nursing Program and Colby Gerard has received acceptance to Great Plains College’s Electricians Program.
