The Revd Andrew White

The Rt Revd Dr John Inge
THE BISHOP OF WORCESTER
27 April 2015
Dear Colleague,
All Together: Sharing ways to live the Kingdom
10am – 3.30pm, Saturday 10 October, Worcester Cathedral
I hope you will have already heard about All Together - the day being planned in Worcester for October
which will bring people together from across the whole Diocese to inspire, encourage and resource each
other in our ‘Kingdom People’ journey.
The aim is to model different ways of being Kingdom People with practical ideas that can be used in your
parish. The day will include a ministry of hospitality with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea being provided
free of charge, courtesy of a gift from a charitable trust. I’m hoping very many people from across the
Diocese will come and join us to worship, learn, share and eat together.
There will be the opportunity to hear about and try out ways of engaging with your local area, including
creative prayer ministry, fresh expressions, welcome courses, discipleship and bible study. Across lots of
different venues, there will be ‘have-a-go’ hands on sessions, creative opportunities, talks, a place of
continuous prayer, and special areas full of activity for children and young people.
We will be inspired by Mark Russell, CEO of the Church Army and Canon of Worcester, and there will be
lots of activities for families of all ages. Some of the workshops will be more formal, whereas others you
will simply be able to drop into and have a go. A full plan of the day will be posted on the diocesan website
as well as in booklets handed out on the day.
To enable as many people as possible to join us, we would like you to identify how many people will be
coming from your parish. I realise that October seems a long time away, but you’ll appreciate that we need
to plan catering and resources. Please could you check who is available and fill in the attached form by
Friday 10 July and return it to Sam Setchell at the Diocesan Office. If you prefer, do email the address
below for an electronic copy to fill in and return.
If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the planning team on AllTogether@cofeworcester-org.uk.
With my very good wishes,
Yours,
Dr John Inge
