Elise Sokolowski is a photographer from Charlottesville, VA. After graduating last spring from
the University of Virginia, she spent this past year as an Aunspaugh Fifth Year Fellow in the
Studio Art department.
Living and studying in her
hometown, the work has
centered on her family as she
photographs the people
and places she knows most
intimately.
