Official Publication of the Davison Eagles The Prez sez… In the years as your “worthy prez”, I have been blessed to be surrounded by good people! The time has flown and it hardly seems like eight years have gone by. But each year it was always another task at hand or situation that needed to be dealt with. Not to sound forgetful, because that’s the furthest from the truth! To be quite honest, I have been honored to hold this office But, my friends, I have realized there will always be another task at hand or urgency to take action upon! Some things will never change. Simply said, I feel most deserving of the Past Worthy Prez status! And with that said, will do my best to see that the next Worthy Prez has al the support needed to see to his success! If the one thing I could point out is this! As Eagles, we make a difference in this world. Not because we are better than anyone else, but because we held ourselves a notch up and act accordingly. We are all just Human Beings. Remember, we are all in this together and are only as strong as our weakest link. We all make mistakes or falter, but it’s how we react in which defines our character! Learning together a one has made us stronger! Keep in mind each day is a gift and while we all walk our own paths, that we remember what it means to be an EAGLE! And most importantly, to act accordingly! April 2015, Volume 8, Issue4 The Madam Prez sez… Spring is here! Well, at least that’s what the calendar says! Warm weather will be here soon I hope. We will be scheduling a spring clean up sometime in the next couple of months. Please watch for more information and come out and help clean up your club. It is every member’s duty to help. We will have nominations for auxiliary officers on April 21st with elections in May. If you would like to run for an office, please see myself or Sandy Spence. Thank you so much to everyone who came out for the cash bash and showed their support for our incoming Worthy State President, Jerry Crosby. We are very proud to have him represent Davison and confident that he will be a great State President! Please remember to sign your guests in the guest book and please do not open the door for anyone who rings the buzzer. This makes it difficult for the bartenders to check cards. Hope to see you soon at the meetings! Remember….we need YOU!!!
