The Eugene Folklore Society once again presents, the ODD camp in oDd years ! Midsummer Madness 2015 July 24-25-26 at Living Waters Camp, overlooking the McKenzie River, 14 miles east of Eugene. For a weekend of dance, music, sports, climbing walls, play, and the camp has a big heated swimming pool. Contra Dance Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday morning in the 1930's vintage lodge with a stage and a fine oak dance floor. Music is provided by our favorite band (of gypsies?): THE NETTLES Laura Brophy > fiddle, Kevin Johnsrude > guitar, Michael Proctor > bass, and Brian Bucolo > percussion Calling by SUSAN MICHAELS, k from Sunny California, bringing her light-hearted energy and inclusive style — and just a touch of wickedness. with ERIK KNODER and friends providing sound Choose from tent camping, your rig, cabin bunkbeds (pretend you're in the scouts) Camp begins with a POTLUCK dinner Friday evening, then meals and snacks will be provided thru Sunday lunch. This year we are delighted to have our meals prepared by Almatierra Catering, the folks now cooking at Westwind.
