Learn how professional artists capture movements through fast-paced gesture drawing. Individuals will rotate holding “poses” for 60 seconds while other students quickly sketch out their figure using basic stick-and-socket drawings. We will share our artwork at the end and use what we have drawn to create whimsical cartoon strips! (This price mirrors Kentucky state travel reimbursement charges). Cancellation Fee: A charge of 50% of the presentation fees are due to The Explorium if all presentations at the same location on the same day are cancelled less than 7 days prior to the presentation. Staffing: If extra staffing is provided and not needed, there is a charge of $15. (May happen if school requests multiple presentations and then ends up having less than said). POLICIES The Explorium requires 30 minutes to set up and pack up in the presentation room prior to and after the presentation time, without students present. At least one teacher must be present at all times during the presentations. DISCOUNTS Have a Heart Fund: ask us if your organization qualifies for a free or reduced rate!
