Hook Hampshire, England Hook is a large village and civil parish within the Hart district of northern Hampshire, England. It is situated 6 miles east of Basingstoke and 36 miles northeast of Southampton. It can be reached on the A30 national route, just north of Junction 5 of the M3 motorway. However, other enquiries reveal that the sound of beer barrels being rolled have been reported, along with footsteps following staff, and the sounds of rustling gravel have been heard in some bedrooms during the night.
