Transformational Teaching. This day is packed with amazing info that you
can take back to your children’s program and watch it flourish!
The Relationship Model
Rev. Les Stahlke
Bring your church board and structure to life! The Relationship Model
was designed after many years of personal observation, theological
study, research, analysis, and leadership experience. Come spend the
day exploring healthy working relationships, how a clear structure can
help you avoid conflict, discover the important distinction between what
the church’s mission is and how to accomplish it, and how to empower
everyone to lead and manage. There will be plenty of time for practical
discussion and application to your setting.
1004. DRUMS
Worship Drummer Master Class
Carl Albrecht
Spend an entire day with the man many call the best drummer in
Christian music! Carl’s extensive experience in the studio and live for
Michael W. Smith, Paul Baloche and LeAnn Rimes gives him a unique
perspective on how to best use drums & percussion in a band or worship
team. Besides covering many drum techniques, Carl also demonstrates
the creative use of other percussion elements. An excellent workshop for
drummers and percussionists of all skill levels.
1005. EVANGELISM
Contemporary Evangelism
Todd Hunter
Discover graceful evangelism that works! Every form of evangelism has
emerged from within a specific context. We will examine recent forms
and suggest ways forward for our present context. In addition, we will
take an insightful look into the internal worlds of young atheists and the
un-churched. How does the church best interact with them? And finally,
how conversation rooted in listening first is a basic form of evangelism
and is a winsome form of humility, hospitality and generosity.
1006. GUITAR-ACOUSTIC
The Ultimate Licks, Tricks & Cheats
Andy Chamberlain
You asked for it, you got it! Renowned guitarist, Andy Chamberlain,
is back with his ultimate tool bag of licks, tricks and cheats useful
in worship or any musical setting. A portion of the day will be spent
developing the basics of how to play by ear, without the music - a ‘must
have’ skill for ANY musician. Come learn from the best! Bring your
instrument.
Calling all bass players! Your bass playing determines the groove,
harmony, feel and more. Bass excellence awaits you in this workshop.
Finding your place on the worship team requires both skill and intuition.
As a seasoned bass player for Paul Baloche and many major artists, both
in studio and live concerts, Michael gives both instruction on necessary
skills, as well as ideas on how to creatively blend your bass in with the
rest of the worship team. Bring your guitar.
New Life for your Chops!
Setting the Captive Free
Robert & Kathie Fetveit
Transformation is a life-long process, often challenging and painful
yet always for our good. We’ll look at core principles that need to be
addressed in order for transformation to take place; honoring Father
and Mother; healing bitter roots that are a powerful negative force and
bring destruction; our judgments, lies and inner vows we make in order
to exert control over our lives; developing basic trust and allowing Him to
reach into our innermost being and fill us with His tender, enfolding love.
1010. KEYBOARDS
Keyboards in Worship
Jared Anderson
Jared brings a wealth of experience from his extensive travels as the
keyboard player for Desperation Band and Paul Baloche. You’ll discover how
to create parts that complement rather than compete with what the other
musicians are playing. Emphasis will be placed on developing a broader
sonic palette, using pad sounds, string sounds, organ, and electric piano
rather than simply using a grand piano sound. Give your ‘88’s a new dose
of vitality!
1011. LEADERSHIP
Leading with a Limp
Dan Allender
This may be the single most important leadership workshop we have ever
offered. All leaders are marked with character, the result of their being
made in the image of God. All also are marred by sin and shortcomings. The
most effective leaders, though, are the ones who embrace those realities as
they are re-made by God, into the image of Christ. In our brokenness, we
have the greatest opportunity to reveal the heart of God’s goodness and the
greatest opportunity to enhance and strengthen our leadership.
1012. LIGHTING
Lighting Master Class
Allstar Show Industries Inc.
Lighting is a powerful tool in worship, performance and communication.

couples. You’ll discover how to Have a Marriage You’ve Always Wanted as we

Expressing Love; Keeping Love Alive; Initiating Positive Change; How to Make
Sex an Act of Love and more! Millions of marriages have been blessed through
Dr. Chapman’s teaching. Invest a day to enjoy a marriage to last a lifetime.
Finding your Groove
A Real Meeting with a Living Friend
Brad Jersak
Do you ever feel like prayer is leaving a message on God’s answering
machine, hoping that God will check his messages? No wonder we get
bored! This workshop will encourage and equip you to experience prayer
as face-to-face fellowship with the most interactive and responsive Person
in the universe, in Jesus’ favourite venue: your own heart. We’ll learn and
practice approaches to prayer where we hear, see and feel the closeness to
Jesus that we’ve always been promised.
1016. SMALL GROUPS
Tribal: The New Small Group Dynamic
Rick Howerton
Many churches are not seeing transformation as they had hoped and
individuals are exiting groups without ever having experienced all that God
intended. This is because many small group ministries are built on the
philosophies and ideas birthed in the modern era. These sessions will unveil
the factors that changed group life and give some very practical thoughts on
how to do group in the era that God has placed us in.
1017. SONGWRITING
Memorable MELODIES
Don Poythress
Come spend a one of a kind day with a career songwriter to some of the
biggest names in mainstream, Christian and worship music. As a singer/
songwriter, Don has a wealth of knowledge and credits, to help you
take the next step in your gift of songwriting. He’ll discuss how a song
is written from the moment of inspiration, through the crafting of lyric
and melody, to finishing and presenting it. It all starts with an idea...who
knows where this day can take you!

devices with Cat T network wiring. You’ll come away with a boatload
of information from worldwide industry leaders and companies as they
share their gifts and talents.

1021. VIDEO
Colin McCartney
Allstar Show Industries Inc.
Behold the Power of Video
The Beautiful Disappointment
Colin shares from his personal struggles in dealing with the murder of one
of his staff, the death of a child in his program and his own near death
experience from a paralyzing water accident. Throughout these ordeals, Colin
discovered that trials are “beautiful disappointments” God can use to purge
us of all the false things we have allowed to disfigure who we really are.
Learn how to stay strong in your day-to-day walk with the Lord so when the
storms of life do blow you will be prepared to carry on.
Allstar brings you an impressive lineup of teachers with decades of experience
in quality video production and ministry. This day-long workshop will

1022. VOCAL
1020. STUDENT MINISTRY

effectively partner with parents and champion moms and dads to be spiritual
developers. Your students’ spiritual development is critical at this stage in
their life for them to continue to pursue an intimate, personal relationship with
Jesus Christ. Jeff will unfold a biblical model for student spiritual development
and empower you to focus your student ministry on this key area.

ministry while learning valuable and effective vocal techniques that work!
1023. WORLDVIEW
Christian Apologetics in a
Pluralistic Culture
Joe Boot
4
Should we defend the faith in a multi-cultural context? How do we defend
and justify the Christian view of life and truth? Is Jesus really the only way
to God? What is the meaning of history and can education be neutral? Is
evolution compatible with scripture? In this engaging series of lectures Joe
Boot addresses some of the most important and pressing questions of our
time from a biblical worldview perspective and equips believers to think
biblically and critically in every area of life.
1024. WORSHIP LEADERSHIP
A Journey to the Heart of God
Paul Baloche & Brian Doerksen

are, and how to clearly call people - who are wired for worship, to know and

What does it mean to lead people who
are supposed to be following Christ? We
will discuss our human engagement with
the purpose of God as the North Star of
leadership, Jesus as a model of leadership,
and the Holy Spirit as the power of leadership.

34. Characteristics of a Leader
Elec B Dan Allender
Our constant tendency is to fall back into
striving by human effort. We acknowledge the
free gift of salvation, but our heart retains its
habit of earning love by performance. We live

131. Falling Down at His Feet
the EdgE is a ‘no games’ zone.
We drop off our ‘religious’ backpacks and
‘I-have-it-all-together’ masks at the door. We
deal with real issues and with real life, not
some flashback to 1950. You want to ignite
your faith and revolutionize the world! But you
want to do it with honesty and transparency!
Join with hundreds of other young adults in the
EdgE classes, featuring Don Everts, author of
11 books, including The Smell of Sin: And the
Fresh Air of Grace and Jesus with Dirty Feet.
130. Jesus with Dirty Feet
Elec A Don Everts
As Jesus walked the streets during his day
he was met with gaping jaws as people were
stunned and shocked by him. These days folks
mostly yawn. Come take a look at Jesus who
had dirty feet, partied, cooked breakfast, and
got himself killed.
131. Falling Down at His Feet
Elec B Don Everts
Elec B Sid Koop & Junkyard Poets
We’ve often heard it said that God loves us
and has a wonderful plan for our lives. But
does wonderful mean soft and lazy? No! If we
are to impact our world, we must be willing to
deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow
Christ. Join the adventure and do hard things!
127. Live Like Christ, Transform Your World
Elec C Sid Koop & Junkyard Poets
We’re taking off the Kidd gloves! No more
games! If we are going to be people of impact,
Christ calls us not to safety, but rather to
engage and transform the world with His love
and by His power. Feel God’s transforming
power!
In Jesus’ day all sorts of people - men and
women, the poor and rich, the powerful and
the humble - found themselves kneeling in
the dirt at his feet. What was it in Jesus that
elicited this drastic response? And what would
it take for us to be more like this today?
132. The Smell of Sin
Elec C Don Everts
These days it can seem like talking about
“sin” is about as popular and relevant as
talking about the earth being the center of the
universe. But when you take a look at how
Jesus talked about sin (in shocking, graphic
ways!) it makes you wonder if maybe there’s
something we’re missing.
133. Designed to Leak
Elec D Don Everts
128. Serve Somebody
Elec D Sid Koop
Christ tells us that if we are going to make
our lives count, we must humble ourselves by
serving others, and by allowing Him to serve
us. Serving is not simply something we do, if
our lives are going to count, it must become
who we are. Discover the joy of serving!
These days it can seem like sharing your faith
is an awkward, uncalled-for, narrow-minded
relic left-over from a more naïve age. Are we
Christians still supposed to talk about Jesus
with others? What might it look like for us to
re-capture his clear view of the matter?
134. Becoming a Jesus-Follower
Elec E Don Everts
129. Don’t Coast, Run!
Elec E Sid Koop
There are moments in our lives when Christ
works so powerfully that our passions burn
hot! The questions is, how can we keep
from coasting, and what can we do to renew
our passion to help us run! Life is not just a
sprint…it’s a marathon!

COMEDY HOUR with carlos oscar
Friday & Saturday @ 9 p.m.
“Carlos Oscar is a comedy treasure, a treasure that’s finally
been discovered! A smart and perceptive storyteller, the only
four-letter words you’ll hear from Carlos are ‘Wife,’ ‘Kids,’
‘Debt!’ and ‘Help!’ And Carlos’ observations about his Latino
family are so universal that you’ll consider yourself one of
them. I know I do.” — Bill Cosby
Known for his charming, witty and energetic stage persona, Carlos fully acts out his
jokes by telling stories everyone can identify with, and metamorphosing into various
characters and voices. He jokes most often about the humorous side of family, popculture and everyday mishaps. His comedy is always crossover so it has given him a
platform to entertain all audiences.

WHO ARE WE?
Break Forth Ministries is an evangelical Christian
ministry which was founded in 1977 with the goal
of sharing the life-giving message of the Gospel in
the language of the people. Over the years, we have
carried out over 7000 outreaches in North America
and overseas. Break Forth Ministries’ vision is to see
all people live a life of worship in Christ Jesus. We
do this by holding Break Forth Canada, evangelistic
outreaches, renewal events and Break Forth Regional
workshops. We also produce resource materials
to develop the worship life of the church. We have
rapidly expanded overseas through major conferences,
workshops and outreaches to countries such as
Finland, Estonia, Norway and more!
