1964 – 2014: 50 Years of Supporting
Australia’s Mothers
The
Australian Breastfeeding Association celebrates its 50th jubilee in
2014! We have lots of exciting events planned and hope you will join the
celebrations.
Breastfeeding, while natural, is a learned skill, so come
along to one of our meetings to help you get off to the right start with
information
and knowledge.
Our meetings are informal and supportive, providing an opportunity to
meet
other mums and to share ideas and feelings about breastfeeding
and mothering. Our meetings are child and baby friendly.
More than breastfeeding counselling.... you don’t need to have a
breastfeeding
problem or to be breastfeeding to come along, as your
experiences of being a mother are valuable. So join us for a couple of
meetings
and see how we function.
We rely on the fantastic and generous work of our volunteer members to
keep our group running. For details of the activities of the group, please
contact group leaders Hazel 4283 4114 and Teena 4262 8113.
NEW MOTHERS AND PREGNANT WOMEN WELCOME!
