Add CSU eReserves / Course Reserves
to a Canvas Course
Instructors can set up Course Reserve material for their course through Morgan Library. They
can then provide a link to those course reserve materials in a module in their Canvas course.
1) In your Canvas course, on the course left menu click Modules.
2) Under a module click on the “ + “ symbol at the top right.
3) Under the Add drop down menu select External
Tool.
4) Click on Course Reserves.

5) At the bottom of the page click Add Item.
6) To the right of the Course Reserves item, remember to click on the Publish button.
When students click on the Course Reserves link, they will be taken to the course materials you
set up with the library for this specific course.
