church@study (10:45am). Destination Sabbath
School features “A Full Hour Overview of Biblical
Missionaries, with Melvin Campbell;” coordinated
by Wally Minder. In Journey, Corey Swensen will lead
our discussion as we finish our study of Paul’s letter
to the Colossians.
This Sabbath’s offering is for our Local
Church Budget.
Fellowship Luncheon. Visitors are invited to
potluck across the street in Sierra Vista Chapel
(SVC) after ONE Summer worship. Members are
invited to come and bring a dish.
Sabbath Rest is until 8:04pm on July 4. Next
Sabbath’s welcome is on July 10 at 8:02pm.
Community Services (CS) Is looking for summer
volunteers! We sort and prep items on Tuesday
mornings between 8:00-11:00am and we are open to
the public Wednesday mornings and need help from
7:00am-11:00pm. If you are available during any of
these times and are looking to serve the community
please contact the church office. Thank you for your
continued support by donating new, gently used
items. If you have large items or other donations that
will not fit in the donation drop please call the church
office to make delivery arrangements.
Blanket Club needs yarn. If you don’t know how to
crochet or knit you can still contribute by donating
yarn for blankets and layette sets. Our next gathering
is July 11 in the Ministry Center from 2:00-5:00pm. If
you don’t know how to knit or crochet already we’ll
teach you.
Tuition Aid. La Sierra Academy tuition aid forms
are now available at the church office for ’15-’16.
Game Afternoon. Join the Better than 50 Club for a
game afternoon on July 9 from 1:00-4:00pm in Sierra
Vista Chapel. Bring your favorite game and a snack to
share.

Church-Wide Fellowship Meal. We gather for the
first of two summer potlucks after worship on July
18. This is a wonderful and rare opportunity to have
lunch all together. Mark your calendars, and watch for
more information about what to bring.
La Sierra University.
Montecito International Music Festival, which
attracts talented students from around the world, will
be held at La Sierra University July 12 – 31. The festival
will offer free concerts by eminent guest artists and
festival faculty. All concerts are free admission and will
be held at 7:30 p.m. at Hole Memorial Auditorium. For

A Pro Doula Workshop is being hosted at the
university. Get the knowledge and skills to support
and nurture families and finish with your labor and
postpartum certificate. Class is being held July 7, 8, & 9
