Allows “Unable to be Determined” method entry. Allows units and date to be specified. 3/26/2015 15 MM Notifications and Accretions • Notifications and Accretions that are no longer valid may be automatically removed from Action List. • Some Action List items no longer require action because the actions required to perform them have been completed. • These items will be addressed automatically, reducing the Action List burden on facilities. • The Action List updates will support: Auto-acceptance of HICNUM notifications from REMIS. Auto-rejection of Date of Death (DOD) notifications when the CW DOD is within the same month/year as the REMIS DOD value. Ignoring of case sensitivity in the creation of notifications on fields: last name, HICNUM, gender and first name. Prevention of duplicate notifications from being generated. 3/26/2015 17 MM Additional Services • The Facility screen in CROWNWeb contains fields editable by a facility-level Editor and fields editable by Network-level Editors. • Facility-level Editors work with Network-level Editors to apply necessary updates to grayed out fields. • With CROWNWeb 4.7, CMS updated the Facility screen to allow Facility-level Editors to apply necessary updates to the “Additional Services (Non-Medicare)” section. 3/26/2015 19 MM Other Modifications • In CROWNWeb 4.7, the development team also focused on correcting existing issues in all areas of the application • Detailed information on these behavior modifications (and others) will be provided during the April 30th Town Hall and “What’s New in CROWNWeb 4.7” Training. • Areas to be discussed: 3/26/2015 21 Facility Close Date errors in CMS-2744 Duplicate patients admitted via EDI Transient Patient report in PART corrected Incorrect auto-update of discharge dates Clinical Data and Missing Labs report corrections MM CROWNWeb 4.7 Educational Opportunities CROWNWeb 4.7 Training • Three “What’s New in CROWNWeb 4.7” Training Events will be held the first and second weeks of May, 2015. • Two events to be held just prior to the CROWNWeb 4.7 release to prepare users immediately prior to the Friday 5/6 release. • One event to be held after the 5/6 release of CROWNWeb 4.7 to accommodate “last minute” learners. • The first Training Event will be recorded and published for 24/7 viewing no later than 3 business days after the event. • Visit the Education tab of www.projectcrownweb.org and click on the virtual calendar for May to see dates once scheduled. • So what’s the best day and time? Tell us! 3/26/2015 23 O CROWNWeb Website The Next Step History of Website • The CROWNWeb system was released as a soft launch in 2009; with a full, Nation-wide launch in 2012. • The ProjectCROWNWeb.org website was launched as well to support program. • Named “project” to reflect soft-launch and phase-in statuses. It: Implies “beta testing” Hints at instability • CROWNWeb has evolved tremendously since 2009.
