Annabelle Stoker (many health issues); Hannah
Chase (safe air travels to Dallas, Texas and back
May 13th to May 18th); the Family of Michael
Jaskiewicz (David Orr’s nephew).
ADDITIONAL HELP NEEDED: with the funeral
dinners, especially with the cooking end of it.
Please contact the church office at 593-2525 if this
is an area that is calling to you.
ATTENTION: If someone from your family is
admitted to the hospital please notify the church
office immediately. Even though the hospital asks
about church affiliation, in most cases they do not
contact us. We certainly don’t want our saints
spending time in a hospital without prayer and a
visit.
BIRTHDAY & ANNIVERSARY LISTS: If you need
a copy of the monthly birthday and anniversary
lists, feel free to stop in at the church office during
the week and request one.
COLLEGE
STUDENTS….LOOKING
FOR
SUMMER WORK? Infinity Resources, Inc. has job
openings for the summer starting at $10.75 per
hour. Go to www.thejobsnetwork.com for an online
application.
ELECTRONIC GIVING:
We offer
Electronic Giving as a way to automate
your offerings. It is convenient for you
and provides much-needed consistency
for the church. Collection basket
offerings can fluctuate significantly from
week to week but when contributions are automated,
the church receives funds on a steady, uninterrupted
basis. Please visit the church website at
http://newleafumc.com and locate the donation link
where you can set up both recurring and one-time
contributions. Or, if you prefer, see Melinda in the office
for an authorization form. We thank you for your
continued support.
FOOD PANTRY REQUESTS FOR MAY AND
JUNE: 35 boxes of mac & cheese; 20 boxes or
bags of cereal; 35 bottles of shampoo; and 20 jars
of peanut butter. Thank you.
If you filled out a giving card on Consecration
Sunday and now need offering envelopes, please
let Melinda know or call the church office at 5932525. Thank you.
It’s SOFTBALL sign up time! Our co-ed team
plays ASA softball in a church league at Lakeview
Park on Tuesday or Thursday each week here in
Conneaut. Games will begin the week of May 25th
and continue through the beginning of August. Our
roster needs guys and gals! If you are interested,
do one of the following: Sign up on the sheet
posted on the bulletin board at church; get in touch
with Dana Quinn (593-4511); or get in touch with
Tim Baldwin (599-7340 or 855-0356 or
mrtabsr@hotmail.com on Facebook). We will hold
practice as soon as we get a few players lined up.
So let us know! Our plan has always been to have
fun and fellowship and that goal remains the same
this year. Please join us!
TEAM LEADERS: Please make sure that all of the
hall lights are turned OFF after your meetings are
done. Thank you.
