The Savills Public Sector team
consists of leading individuals who
have a strong track record and
knowledge of working within and
for the public sector. Over several
decades, the team has built strong
relationships with key departments
of public office, delivery agencies,
housing associations and other
regulated bodies.
We offer first class property and
management consultancy advice to
the public sector. Our service draws
on Savills ‘best in class’ expertise and
an established market presence in
UK residential, commercial and land
markets. Our team also has detailed
understanding of the procurement
process, and we are appointed to
several national property advisory
frameworks.
The team is responsible for the
analysis of regulatory, political and
procedural issues of relevance for
our clients, in order to help take
advantage of opportunities to
generate income, drive efficiencies
and develop capital value. The team
also acts as a knowledge hub within
Savills to drive forward best practice,
value and quality of service to our
clients.

Undertook background planning work
to inform Mayor’s planning strategy
at Waterloo. Worked with client and
consultant team to select developer
partner and develop 4 million sq ft of
mixed use space at Waterloo Interchange

leasing, investment management, CPO
and party wall projects.
Retained land advisor to the University of
Reading across 3,200 acres including land
for both education and research, as well as
residential and commercial property.
Savills provides advice on strategic
investment, student accommodation,
development consultancy and
management, leasing and pre-leasing,
agency, valuation, telecommunications,
rating and town planning.
The Savills team also undertakes specific
project instructions such as advising on
the development forward funding and
investment sale of the Enterprise Centre
development to a private sector partner,
following a pre-let to the University.
The only advisor appointed to both
the HCA Property and Multidisciplinary
Frameworks.

The outsourcing solution provides property

Savills manage the diverse operational
tenanted and surplus property portfolio with
a key objective to optimise capital and rental
receipts.
Savills were appointed by Barton Land, the
Oxford City Council and Grosvenor Estate
partnership, to provide infrastructure,
master-planning, and development advice
to deliver new housing on previously
undeveloped land.
Acting as sole property advisors Savills
are advising to deliver over 1,000 housing
units plus supporting commercial
accommodation.
Our advice includes; strategic
masterplanning, planning application
and consent and previously delivered the
agreement of a development partnership
with public and private sector parties.
