Since 2003 they have provided creative opportunities for more than 700 poets and 10,000 students in disadvantaged schools, communities and correctional centres across Australia. Increasing the reach of these programs and ensuring financial sustainability will be the focus over the coming years. The Role Reporting to the Executive Director and Board, this position will be responsible for engaging and nurturing new and existing supporters nationally, harnessing financial support across individuals, philanthropists, corporates and trusts and foundations. •Prepare and implement a fundraising development strategy •Proactively research, identify and develop new sources of philanthropic and corporate income •Build and develop relationships with new and existing donors •Monitor and report on financial targets Skills Required You’re currently fundraising in an arts or other not-for-profit environment with a deep understanding and appreciation of best practice philanthropy and/or sponsorship. You also have: •Highly developed financial and data management skills •An ability to manage diverse and complex stakeholder relationships •A collaborative, inclusive working style •Passion for language, and its ability to educate, empower and inspire Help RRC to remain financially sustainable to ensure they can continue to deliver innovative community programs.
