Liturgy 101 WELCOMING COMMITTEE If you have a social bent, this is a great committee to start or to join. The welcoming committee can follow up with newcomers to help introduce them to the parish. They can make sure letters of welcome go out to those who have signed up in the parish, along with informative materials about the parish. Some can organize occasional events where the newcomers can come, meet the clergy and staff, and other leaders in the parish. Consider how you would like to be welcomed and make it happen for others. Camping Trip to Scott's Flat Lake Please join us for the annual Family Ministry camping trip to Scott's Flat Lake from July 23rd to 26th. It's the perfect summertime adventure for the whole family. 2015 Men’s Cursillo A Cursillo for men has been scheduled for October 1-4 in Applegate. This diocese-wide annual Cursillo is conducted in an atmosphere of joy, grace and reflection. The weekend is designed to give men a deeper relationship with God and is sometimes referred to as a short course in Christianity. Through prayer, discussions and inspiring talks, participants are challenged to better understand their faith and to deepen their walk with Christ.
