We’ll miss the old harvest gold one, but not that much! Another great reminder of what a wonderful parish we have at Saint Pat’s. Speaking of which, we had a fund raiser at Chili’s last Monday for one our families whose child is facing some tough medical issues. What a wonderful sight to see the restaurant filled for over 2 hours with Saint Pat’s families. The parents are so thankful for the spiritual and financial support our school community is providing. As long as we’re doing feel good stories…hats off to our track coaches for another great season. This is reflected not only in the scores but in the way our team conducts itself. We are the only team, so far, whose athletes stay until the end of the meet to cheer each other, and the opposition, on. After the meet the coaches have a short pep talk with the team and then close with a prayer. The meets at our new track have a wonderful community feel. The parents bring their beach chairs, the concession stand has the all American hot dog and snacks, and the younger siblings are on the playground. It’s a Norman Rockwell picture!
