FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, YOU HAVE
REVEALED TO THE NATIONS YOUR SAVING POWER
AND FILLED ALL AGES WITH THE WORDS OF A NEW
SONG. HEAR THE ECHO OF THIS HYMN. GIVE US
VOICE TO SING YOUR PRAISE THROUGHOUT THE
SEASON OF JOY. WE ASK THIS THROUGH CHRIST
OUR LORD. AMEN
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY
Today we honor the mothers of our parish and
all our mothers, living and deceased. May each
of you know the deep esteem and affection of
your families. Today, we remember all those
women who have given physical birth to their
children, those who have adopted their
children, and those who throughout the course of their lives,
have nurtured and loved any human being who needed maternal
compassion. May each charity bring the world closer to peace
and human heart closer to the deepest desire.

Anointing of the Sick Healing Mass
Saturday, May 23rd at 10:30 AM
at Marsh Drive Church.
This Mass and Anointing is for any Catholic,

are chronic and persistent such as diabetes, back pain, addictions
or mental health concerns. The priest will use oil blessed at the
Chrism Mass on Monday of Holy Week and anoint the recipient
on the forehead and on the palms of their hands. The effects are
to include not only spiritual healing, but also the gifts of hope,
endurance and physical health according to God’s will. This
Mass is only celebrated once a year at Saint Patrick Church, plan
now to attend and receive healing grace from this liturgy.

First, thank you to the generous donor who bought a
brand new refrigerator for the teacher’s lounge.
We’ll miss the old harvest gold one, but not that much! Another
great reminder of what a wonderful parish we have at Saint Pat’s.
Speaking of which, we had a fund raiser at Chili’s last Monday
for one our families whose child is facing some tough medical
issues. What a wonderful sight to see the restaurant filled for
over 2 hours with Saint Pat’s families. The parents are so
thankful for the spiritual and financial support our school
community is providing. As long as we’re doing feel good
stories…hats off to our track coaches for another great season.
This is reflected not only in the scores but in the way our team
conducts itself. We are the only team, so far, whose athletes stay
until the end of the meet to cheer each other, and the opposition,
on. After the meet the coaches have a short pep talk with the
team and then close with a prayer. The meets at our new track
have a wonderful community feel. The parents bring their beach
chairs, the concession stand has the all American hot dog and
snacks, and the younger siblings are on the playground. It’s a
Norman Rockwell picture! Please join us for Mass, Friday at
8:30.
