The 4th annual Scarborough Afro Carib-Fest is back with even more exciting musical performances, tastycuisines, dance workshops, cultural pageant, drum circle workshops, fashion show case, and lots of prizes! About the Scarborough Afro-Carib Fest The festival was established in 2012 as a community event and has continued to grow each year, welcoming over 20,000 guests throughout the 3 past years.Visitors and community memberscan join us to celebrate the culture, history, arts, and cuisines of the African and Caribbean heritage. Guest enjoy exciting entertainers, pageants, and demos while also learning about the diversity of Afro-Caribbean and other ethnic cultures that are the fabric of Canada. The 2-day gathering is unique in its success at bridging social, cultural and economic differences through sharing art, music, cuisine, dance, and experiences diverse heritages. This year’s event promises more exciting activities and entertainment including a show case of elaborate Afro-Caribbean cultural costumes.
