Capri
Casa Buonocore is located in the center of
Positano, just before the town’s pedestrian area
begins and a mere five minute walk away from the
“Sita” bus stop and the port.
Taxis and rented cars can drive right up to the
steps which lead to the guest house.
To reach the main entrance you will need to climb
approximately 70 steps. Don’t worry about your
luggage: we’ll send a porter to collect your bags
and deliver them to your room for you.
If you decide to travel to Positano by “Sita” bus
Ask the bus driver to let you off at the “La Sponda”
bus stop. From here, walk down the road for
approximately 300 meters, after which you’ll see a
majolica sign to Casa Buonocore to your right:
walk up the steps and you’ve arrived!

Once you arrive in Positano, park your car in the Di
Gennaro Garage (customers staying at the guest
house are granted a special rate of 20 euro per
day). Walk back up the road following the direction
of the traffic. You’ll find Casa Buonocore on your
left.
Let us know when you are in the vicinity of the
hotel! We’ll send porters to carry your luggage up
the steps between the main road and the hotel.
How to get to Positano from Naples or Rome
The journey from the airports in Naples or Rome
to Positano can be a long one and, for those
travelling by public transport, entails changing
trains and buses more than once. For this reason,
we advise guests to avoid the stress, and book a
private transfer instead.
We have made special agreements with a number
of highly qualified private drivers, who will apply
the following, exceptionally low, rates for clients
staying at Casa Buonocore:
Transfer from Naples to Positano:
100 euro (1 to 3 passengers, luggage included)
Transfer from Rome to Positano:
400 euro (1 to 3 passengers, luggage included)

Worth remembering: the road to Positano is a long and winding one. In addition, it is poorly lit at night. If
you plan to rent a car, we suggest you travel to Positano by private transfer first, and then rent a car once
you arrive at Casa Buonocore – we will be pleased to recommend a number of car hire companies which
will deliver your car direct to the garage next to the guest house.
