Hello Industry Friends,
Thank you for considering the IBECA Show, formerly known as the IBO Show. The dates of our
annual show are July 13-16 with Tuesday, July 15th being the actual trade show day.
We continue to get great feedback from exhibitors, stating that the IBECA show is the best
bowling trade show in the state. They report higher sales, better relationship building and
having more fun than other bowling shows held in Michigan. The IBECA Show Committee has
been hard at work trying to plan an even better show for this year. A value packed convention
and trade show is our goal and we are looking forward to having you as an exhibitor at our 7th
Annual Independent Bowling & Entertainment Centers Association Show. Our Association is
continuing to grow in value and in members every month. You won't want to miss this chance to
meet all of our newest members in one place.
With a great venue like the Park Place Hotel in Traverse City, we are expecting record
attendance by not only restaurant and bowling center owners, but their pro shop staff and food
service department managers . You won’t find a better room rate in Traverse city for the month
of July! Our convention is a great way to rekindle old client relationships and meet new
prospective customers. All of our meals and functions are included in your exhibitor’s packet, so
you will have plenty of mingling time with your prospective customers.
We are contacting you early this year to make sure that you get the dates on your calendar, but
also to offer you one of our limited sponsorship opportunities. The attached sheet indicates the
level of sponsorship available. I think you will agree that it is a very valuable tool for reaching out
to our membership. We are putting a deadline on sponsorship this year to enable us to go to
print in a more timely fashion. Please respond before May 19, 2014 if you would like to be
included in all of our mailings and publications.
We will once again be providing gift baskets for every convention attendee’s room. As an added
bonus this year, if you would like to provide us with a small giveaway from your company, we
will include it in the gift baskets. If you are interested, please plan on providing us with enough
giveaways for 200 gift baskets which will be assembled on Sunday, July 13th.
Additionally, we would also like to encourage each exhibitor to bring a door prize to be raffled
during the trade show. We will be moving to each booth throughout the trade show on Tuesday
to draw and announce the winner of each prize.
I think that you will agree that our show is an event that you can't afford to miss!
