How to Setup your E-mail Account -Apple Mail for Mac OS X 1- Open Mail 2- The welcome screen will appear as follow: Fill in the above information as follow Full Name: type your display name E-Mail address: type your full e-mail address that hosted on LINKdotNET servers Incoming Mail Server: type “mail.link.net” Account type: choose POP User Name: type the name before the “@link.net” Password: type your e-mail password Outgoing Mail Server: type “mail.link.net” Clink OK to go 3- Click NO when asked if you want to import mailboxes now as follow: 4- Click NO when you asked if you want to see what is new as follow: 5- From the MAIL menu , Choose Preference as below , the choose the Accounts icon: 6- Click the Server Settings button in the lower section of your account information. 7- A dialog box Called SMTP Server Option Fill in the above information as follow: Outgoing Mail Server: type “mail.link.net” User Name: type your user name Password: type your password Leave the Server Port as it is port 25 8- Close the Accounts window and click the save button as follow: How to Setup your E-mail Account -Entourage for Mac OS X 1- Open Entourage 2- -Click on Tools menu and select Accounts as follow : 3- This screen should open to you: Click New and choose Mail 4- This screen will be opened to you: Select POP account and then click OK 5- You should see this screen: Choose Configure account manually 6- The next window will open: Fill in this form as follow Account Name: put it any name as “LINKdotNET” Name: type you username E-Mail address: type in your e-mail address Account ID: type your username POP Server: type “mail.link.net” Password: type your e-mail password SMTP Server: type “mail.link.net” Then click “click here for advanced settings” 7- Then this screen will open to you: Mark on “SMTP server require authentication” and also “use same settings as receiving mail server” Click OK to save settings and start using your mail account How to Setup your E-mail Account -Eudora 6.2 1- if you launch Eudora for the first time then you will see that screen ,you can click on YES if and only if you are not going to use any other e-mail program or if you will Eudora your default e-mail program 2- Then this welcome screen will appear , click on OK 3- The new account screen will appear, just click next: 4- Choose in the next screen : “Create a new brand new e-mail account” and click on next 5- In the next window enter the Display name you want to appear in your mails 6- In the next screen type your E-mail Address and press next: 7- In the next screen you enter your User Name and press next: 8- In the next screen type “mail.link.net” as incoming Server and choose pop then press enter 9- In the next screen type “mail.link.net” as outgoing server and click on Allow Authentication : 10- You should now reach the end , so click on Finish and start using your e-mail How to Setup your E-mail Account -Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.5 1- Open Thunderbird, go to the Tools menu and choose Account Settings Note: if you're using Thunderbird for the first time (for example, if you just installed it), you will have to follow these steps: choose whether you wish to import anything or not, then click next, and go directly to step 3. 2- Click on Add Account in the lower left hand corner: 3- The Account Wizard will appear and choose Email Account: 4- The identity screen will appear as follow and fill in the following information: Name: add your display name E-Mail address: type your e-mail address And press Next 5- The Server Information screen will appear as follow: Fill in the information as follow: The type of your incoming server is: POP or IMAP Incoming Server: type “mail.link.net” And mark “Use Global Inbox” Outgoing Server: type “mail.link.net” And press Next 6- The User Names screen will appear as follow: in both fields (Incoming User Name , Outgoing User Name) type your Username 7- The Account Name screen will appear as follow: Give you Account Name any name you want, for example: LINKdotNET Account and press Next 8- The Summary page will appear to you showing all your information: Just press on Finish 9- In the first time you prompt to enter your password as follow 10- Press OK in the following screen and start using your E-mail account: How to Setup your E-mail Account -Netscape 7.0 1- Open Netscape 7.0 Mail and edit the window menu and choose Mail & Newsgroups as follow: 2- Click on Add Account as follow: 3- The Account Screen will show up as follow, choose E-Mail Account: 4- The Identity Screen will appear as follow: fill in the info below as follow: Your Name: type your display name E-mail address : type your e-mail address And press Next 5- The server information screen will appear as follow; Fill in the information as follow: Type of incoming server: choose if you want to user POP or IMAP Incoming Server: Type “mail.link.net” Outgoing Server: Type “mail.link.net” And press Next 6- The User Names screen will appear as follow Type in you Username and press Next 7- The Account Name screen will appear as follow:Type in your account name ,for example user@link.net or “LINKdotNET account”……and press Next 8- The summary screen will appear showing all your mail information as follow, press finish;
