How to create a campaigner page:
Step 1: Go to www.annarborymca.org/user/register . Go to the “Create New
Account” tab on the left side of the page.
Step 2: Create a user name and enter an email address. Please make your first and
last name your User Name. You will then receive two emails. One email will verify
your registration. At this point, your account will be pending approval. Although the
first email is automatically generated from the system, the second email is not. It
will take at least one business day from the time you create the account until it is
approved. Therefore, if you are creating an account on a Saturday, please do not
expect a response until Monday.
Another email will notify you that your account has been approved, with additional
instructions on how to log in and set your password.
Be sure to add info@annarborymca.org to your email address book. Confirmation
emails will be sent from this address and will likely be filtered through your spam
folder if you do not add the address as a contact. If you are an Ann Arbor YMCA staff
member, please use an alternate email address to your Outlook account.
Step 3: Once you receive the second email, which verifies that your account at
annarborymca.org has been activated, click the link in the email and follow the
instructions. This will prompt you to create a new password and enable your access
to the annarborymca.org website.
Step 4: Once you have created a new password, go to the “Create Content” tab on
the left side of the page. Click on “Campaigner Page”. Use this template to create
your campaigner page. Make sure you include your name in the “Title” section of the
template. The title will end up being the web address for your campaign page.
Photos: Additionally, if you have an interest in using one our photos instead of your
own, you can use one of the sample images we have provided with this document.
Simply look at the thumbnails and choose one you like, then paste the address below
it in the “Browse” field on your campaigner page. (See the available images here)
Step 5: Once you have entered your information on the Campaigner Page Template,
click “Review”. This sends a notification to us to approve your page.
In the section that says “Show on website?” click the “Show” radio button.
At the bottom of the page, in the section that says “Campaigners Workflow”, click on
“Review”.
Once your page has been approved, you can view it at
www.annarborymca.org/campaigners . You will not receive an email notification
when this happens. Instead, just check to see if your name appears in the
campaigner section of the above address. Once you see your name, you can start
giving people the www.annarborymca.org/campaigners address to view your page
and start donating!
