Narrative Summary (Results/Discussion)
Please keep text to one page if possible. Include summary of trial results and a brief discussion.
Results for multiple PRnumbers can be summarized together, but please list all PRNumbers in
the footer and in the summary data table.
The drench applications of V-10161 (fluopicolide) for crop safety indicated that regardless of plant
Genus, there was no noticeable phytotoxicity observed at any of the evaluation dates for any of
the rates applied. All plants exhibited the same growth patterns as the controls and were
measured for growth and photographed at the end of the evaluation period. All plants were well
formed and saleable.
All plants were obtained from nurseries and transplanted into 1 gallon pots and 5 gallon
containers using a consistent media. Containers were hand watered throughout the study.
Plants were cared for and maintained in a nursery like setting throughout the research process.

Please fill out the information below or attach a separate document with comparable
information.
In May, June and July of 2011, plant material for the project was transplanted into 1 gallon and
5 gallon containers using a Sungrow professional blend potting mix. A time release fertilizer
was applied at transplant prior to treatment applications. These containers were separated into
1x, 2x and 4x rates within the chemical treatments. Treatments of Adorn were applied using a
measured amount of chemical. Hand watering was used to irrigate pots throughout the duration
of the study. Evaluations were done 7, 14 and 28 days after each treatment application. A rating
of 0-10(0=no phytotoxicity, 10=complete kill) was given to each pot of each treatment.

Data Collected
Please describe data collected and scoring system. Also include the dates data were collected.
Plant observations were taken 7 days after each drench application and 4 weeks after the final
treatment. Phytotoxicity was graded on a scale of 0 to 10 (0 = No phytotoxicity; 10 = Complete
kill).
The plants were divided into 4 groups for applications of Adorn 4F, a control group, a 1x rate,
a 2x rate and a 4x rate. Evaluations were made at the time of the initial application on 8/1/2011,
7 days later on 8/8/2011, after 2 weeks on 8/16/20111 then at 4 weeks on 9/1/2011 for the 1st
drench.
The 2nd drench application was 4 weeks after the 1st on 9/1/2011. And evaluations for the 2nd
group were made on 9/1/2011, 9/9/2011, 9/16/2011, and 9/30/2011.
Plants were measured for height and width at the initial and the final observation dates and
were photographed in their groups at the end of observations (Refer to excel file for photos).

Narrative Summary of Methods
Plants were obtained from a nursery as 24 " bareroot plugs. They were transplanted into 1 gall
and hand-watered as needed. The plants were grouped into random blocks of 5 plants each
and the drench treatments were applied. Good coverage was achieved. Observations for
phytotoxicity were performed 7, 14 and 28 days after each of the 2 applications. No phytotoxicity
observation dates. The plants were 24" to 36" in height and they were well formed and saleable.
