Sample RDA Records

Sample RDA Records
All records are built following RDA instructions and, for some elements (e.g., RDA 2.11 COPYRIGHT DATE), LC
Policy Statements. Other interpretations of these cataloging guidelines are possible. In real-world situations, non-RDA
information may be “hardcoded” into records, such as the word in before the name of a container for a kit (... ; in
container 20 x 14 x 12 cm). All records are set at a full encoding level; none below appear as minimal or abbreviated
level.

490 1- Issues in post-war Europe ; ‡v part VI
504 -- Includes bibliographical references and index.
505 0- Introduction -- Danzig and the “corridor” are historically
Polish -- Poles have always formed the great majority of the
population of the “corridor” -- Economic reasons for the
restitution of Pomerania to Poland -- The frontiers of the
“corridor” are economically invisible -- Polish traffic in the
“corridor” is five times greater than that of Germany -- There are
many other “corridors in the world” -- Eastern Prussia is the only
colony which has been left to Germany -- The position of eastern
Prussia is difficult because there is no commercial treaty between
Germany and Poland -- The future prosperity of Danzig lies in its
union with Poland -- Thanks to Poland Danzig is the only port in
the world which has quadrupled its pre-war traffic -- The port of
Danzig is no longer sufficient for Polish trade : the port of
Gdynia will supplement it -- The birth of the Polish navy -Conclusion -- Appendices.
