This is an exhibit animal show. Pens will be provided with shavings. Pen Fee: $5.00 (Additional Shavings will be available for
purchase). There will no premiums awarded. ADGA Rosettes will be awarded.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Entries must be postmarked by Friday, January 16, 2015, late entries by January 30, 2015. This is a Jr
Doe/ Sr Doe/Buck Nigerian Dwarf Specialty Show. Jr./Sr. Doe ARE separately sanctioned for Nigerian Dwarfs. Buck Show: JR and SR.

ENTRY FEES: $15.00 per animal. All fees must accompany entry form. Late entries postmarked after January 16, 2015, but before
January 30, 2015, will be charged the $15.00 registration fee plus a $50 late fee for each entry. All fees are non-refundable. No
entries accepted after1/30/2015
TICKETS/ PASSES:
Each Exhibitor entered in the Open Show will be issued one (1) general admission pass to enter thru the Livestock exhibitor’s
entrance, and one (1) parking pass. One (1) parent pass will be issued additionally, per Youth exhibitor. Additional tickets are
available for purchase on-line at www.swflcfair.com. (Please consult the website for advanced ticket price deadline.) All exhibitors
must enter through the designated livestock gate.

HEALTH RULES:
All goats shall be accompanied by an official health certificate. Only animals with valid health certificates will be allowed on the
grounds. All goats must meet health requirements as specified in the Rules for Exhibition as required by the Florida Department of
Agriculture & Consumer Services. Out of state exhibitors should check health paper requirements before entering the state. An
accredited state veterinarian will be checking animals before they are allowed to enter the fairgrounds.

SHOW RULES:
The Breed Standards and Show Rules of ADGA shall govern and be upheld at this show, and all rules of the Southwest Florida & Lee
County Fair as listed in the Premium Book. www.ADGA.org www.swflcfair.com
SHOWMANSHIP: Judging will be based on the AGDA Showmanship Scorecard. Premiums will not be awarded. Rosettes & ribbons will be
awarded. Winner’s certificates available thru ADGA.
Only registered goats may be shown. Only official ADGA registration certificate papers will be accepted. All exhibitors must enter
through the designated Livestock gate.

A registration or recordation certificate is required for all animal to show, and must be presented to the show secretary upon entering
the ring.
An animal winning Champion or Reserve Champion must have a legible tattoo or microchip (owner must provide reader) that matches
the Certificate/Application or the exhibitor will forfeit their award.
Proof of ownership shall be the name on the Certificate or Application. Persons showing animals who are Certificate or Application have
signed transfers on them must show those animals as agent for the owner on the Certificate or Application.
Substitution have to be made before end of check-in.
The order of show is subject to change.
All dairy goats must be dehorned, disbudded, or naturally polled.
An exhibitor shall not present an animal to be shown under a judge from whom it was purchased within 90 days of show.
The judge’s decision will be final. No protest will be allowed. No reversal of decision will be considered. There is no pre show milk out.
Over –uddering of dairy goats is frowned upon. The Judge shall have the authority to excuse animals from the ring for removal of excess
milk. The Show chairperson will designate where to dump milk. All grooming must be done in designated areas. All feed and supplies
must be kept in designated areas. Exhibitors must supply their own electricity.
It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to leave the pens & grooming area as you found them. All bedding and trash must be removed and put
into proper containers before you may leave the grounds. Failure to do so will excuse you from exhibiting next year.
No dogs will be allowed on the show grounds; No Coolers on Fairgrounds; Chairs only are allowed in grooming area.
No member, employee, or representative of the Southwest Florida & Lee County Fair, show committee, ADGA or any other goat registry
organization will be held responsible for any illness, injury, damage, or loss of animal, person, or property in conjunction with this event.
All who attend and show do so at their own risk.

JUDGING:
Judging will began with Senior Does at 12:00.
Order of Show will be posted at 7:00am
The base date for computing the age of the animal shall be the day the animal is to be judged
Unless otherwise stated in Premium Book governing livestock.
Breeds will show in the following order: Does: Nigerian Dwarf
Bucks: Nigerian Dwarfs
JUNIOR DIVISION – (JUNIOR DOE Show OR Junior Division of COMBINED JR. /SR. DOE Show)
The Junior Division consists of does under 24 months of age that are NOT in milk and have never freshened.
Either of the following are acceptable with number (1) preferred.

Buck in Show will be listed.
