ENDOWMENT FUND FOR THE RETIRED PRIESTS
"CHOSEN, BLESSED, SHARED"
Thank you to those who gave so generously to the
"Chosen, Blessed, Shared" annual fund. Everyone can
support the retired priests of our Diocese by making a gift
to the Endowment Fund for the Care of Retired Priests.
This special fund is used to directly support retired priests
in good standing including the future costs of their
healthcare, insurance, housing and sustenance. Please
return your gift using the envelope you received in the mail
or from the brochures in the vestibule. These envelopes
may be returned in the mail or in the collection basket at
Mass. Your generosity supports retired priests from all 5
counties of our Diocese.
Sacred Heart Sodality members are selling 25% off
shopping passes for Boscov's "Friends Helping Friends"
event on Tuesday, October 21st. Passes cost $5. Anyone

HEALING SERVICE
St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church will be holding a
Healing Service on Sunday, November 9th at 3:00pm.
The first part of the service, 3 - 4pm, will include Adoration
of the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Divine Mercy Chaplet,
Rosary and private prayer. Confessions will be heard
during this time. The second part of the service includes
the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick administered by
a priest, followed by the laying on of hands by Mrs. Janet
DeBellis, asking our Lord, through prayer, for physical,
spiritual, mental and emotional healing. Confessions will
continue during this time. Mrs. DeBellis was graced
through a miracle to receive God's healing power, to go
forth to bring God's healing love and mercy to others. She
has been commissioned by the Allentown Diocese for
public ministry.
Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet on Tuesday, October
21st from 6:00pm – 8:00pm in the parish center.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY
Today is World Mission Sunday! We are invited today to
reach out and help build the Church in Mongolia, the
