POSITION The Dayton Dragons are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated candidates for the role of Play Zone Attendant. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced, energetic environment and be willing to work extra, non-traditional hours when needed. The ideal candidate must also have strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task, possess a positive work ethic, and strive to be great in everything they do. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As a Play Zone Attendant you will be working in the child’s play area and will be directly responsible for: Arriving at work at the appropriate, assigned times and staying throughout the entire shift Providing “unsurpassed customer service” Informing your supervisor of any conflicts prior to the creation of the work schedule Setting up/tearing down of inflatables and other equipment (50 lbs. plus) Supervising and directing children in a friendly professional manner Handling monetary and ticket voucher transactions as payment Working special events at the park including, but not limited to Dragons Kids Day, Movie Night, etc. Adhering to uniform standards (will be provided with a uniform shirt and hat) at all times Knowing and enforcing safety guidelines to ensure guest safety Working as a Tennis Ball Toss Attendant as needed and directing fans on how to participate START/END DATES & HOURS March - October 2014 Home game days: 5:30pm to completion of game Monday thru Saturday and 12:30pm to completion on Sundays Training sessions are in early March Applicant will be required to work additional hours for events at the park and special projects (events typically occur on weekends when the team is out of town) COMPENSATION Minimum Wage Thank you for your interest in joining the baseball community.
