They must not have won a Prelim class affiliated or unaffiliated before the date of qualification. CLASS 3 Prelim 12 (2005) – Warm-Up Class For horses and ponies competing in championship classes today *CLASS 4 Prelim 14 (2006) Restricted a)– Championship Class Neither horse nor rider to have competed BD Affiliated Dressage by the date of the championships as a full competing member (music, eventers BD, RC BD members are also excluded). WE ARE AWARDING THE JESS GILL CUP TO THE CHAMPION OF THIS CLASS IN MEMORY OF OUR ASSISTANT EDITOR WHO TRAGICALLY DIED IN MARCH 2013. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL PERPETUAL CUP IN HER HONOUR. There will be a ride of for the winner of the Junior section and the Senior section to win this cup. CLASS 4 Prelim 14 (2006) Restricted b)– Championship Class Either the equine or the rider may have competed affiliated to British Dressage but the equine must not have any BD points. CLASS 5 Novice 27 (2007) – Warm-up Class For horses and ponies competing in championship classes today * CLASS 6 Novice 28 (2008) Restricted a)– Championship Class Neither horse nor rider to have competed BD Affiliated Dressage by the date of the championships as a full competing member (music, eventers BD, RC BD members are also excluded). CLASS 6 Novice 28 (2008) Restricted b)– Championship Class Either the equine or the rider may have competed affiliated to British Dressage and the equine may have gained points at novice level but not higher (124 points) CLASS 7 Freestyle Dressage to Music This is open to all competitors who have qualified for the above championship classes. PYO Open Music Freestyle: Intro 2012/Preliminary 2012/Novice 2012 20x40m or 20x60m Arena and Novice 2012 20x60m Arena You must hand over your music CD on declaration. Horse/pony Rider combinations do not need to qualify for this class, it is an optional extra but it must be pre-entered and you must declare at what level you will be doing your test. *Incorporating Junior section for Children 14 years and younger on 25/10/2014. Prizes will be awarded separately for juniors Day 2 – Sunday 26th October 2014 CLASS 8 Prelim 13 (2006) – Warm-Up Class For horses and ponies competing in championship classes today *CLASS 9 Prelim 18 (2002) – Championship Class For horses and riders who have competed BD combined or separately. The horse must not have more than 49 BD points. Class 10 Novice 27 (2007) – Warm-up Class For horses and ponies competing in championship classes today *Class 11 Novice 34 (2009) Championship Class For horses and riders who have competed BD combined or separately. The horse may have gained points BD at novice level but must not have more than 129 BD points. Class 12 PYO Elementary 42 (2008) Medium 63 (2002) Warm-Up Class - combined Open to all Class 13 Elementary 44 (2002) Championship Class Open to all Class 14 Medium 61 (2002) Championship Class Open to all Class 15 Advanced Medium 85 (2009) – Open Class Open to all – CTR members and non-members. CLASS 16 Dressage to Music Open to all horse and riders who are competing in any of the Chiltern & Thames Rider Championships Classes on Sunday 26th October. You must hand over your music CD on declaration. Horse/pony Rider combinations do not need to qualify for this class, it is an optional Open Music Freestyle all 20x60m arena: Novice 2012/ Elementary 2012/ Medium 2012/AdMed 2012 This class must be pre-entered and you must declare at what level you will be doing your test. *Incorporating Junior section for Children 14 years and younger on 26/10/2014. Rosettes to 10th place. Sash to Winners including best juniors. Mounted Prize Giving Prizes generously sponsored by . Rules: Horses or ponies may be ridden by two riders at the championships but the following restrictions apply: They can only compete at two consecutive levels. Eg if rider 1 competes with the horse and pony at Prelim Level, rider 2 cannot compete at any other level other than Intro (one level below) or Novice (one level above). This competition will be run under British Dressage rules Please note: no dressage whips to be used in the arena, no boots or bandages and callers can only be used for juniors (14 years and under) or riders who have proof of special needs (discretion of the show organiser) If competitors go up a grade from qualification to the date of the final, they must declare this and they will be moved up, into a suitable level of class for the final. Please do not enter classes for which you are not eligible. If anyone enters illegally, they will be disqualified. Please note that spot checks will be made to authentic Horse & Pony Passports must be available for inspection at the final if required By special request, if a veteran horse needs to downgrade because of age, horses that no longer are able to compete at the higher levels, even though they have points from a previous time, may be allowed to compete at a lower level at the discretion of the show director. Championship Classes and Music Classes: ENTRY COST: £23 per test when you enter online or £26 if you enter over the phone or on paper. Warm-Up Classes: ENTRY COST £18 when you enter online or £21 when you enter over the phone or on paper.
