SUNDAY PRAYER LINK
Pray for our pastors and churches involved in church planting around our
region. Our Convention has set a goal
to see 65 new congregations birthed
by 2025. A key component in the
success of these churches will be other
churches coming alongside to mentor
and lend support. Be open to how God
may be calling you to support this
important initiative.

CBM PRAYERLINE
Global
We praise God for a glimmer of hope in the
fight against Ebola as Nigeria, Africa’s most
populous country, is declared Ebola-free. May
there be a strengthened response to better
assist countries in West Africa reeling under
the impact of Ebola. Pray for an increase in
compassion to reduce stigma and fear. We
remember those who struggle with other potentially deadly disease such as HIV/AIDS,
malaria, and Chagas. Pray for continued support of CBM’s health care programs among
the poor and vulnerable.
Lebanon
CBM Field Staff Rupen Das requests prayer
for the security situation in Lebanon which is
deteriorating and affecting the churches and
areas they minister in. Pray for God’s protection daily and that those seeking Christ
through the churches would be strengthened
in faith. Pray for continued funding for all of
the relief projects in Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.
May the Church be a courageous and bright
light of hope.
Canada
Pray for CBM Board meetings to be held later
this week in Ontario. May this be a time of
encouragement and refreshed visioning of
how we may continue to respond together,
through local churches, to brokenness in our
world. Pray for an outpouring of God’s spirit,
wisdom and guidance.
