Watch for the dates to sign up.
\
In this month’s Dove there will be a form for you to nominate yourself or someone else
for the two positions that are open on the Congregational Council for next year. There
will also be forms available in the church office and the Welcome center. All
nominations are due by December 1. The openings are for the Chair of the Worship
and Music and the Chair of Stewardship. A complete description of the duties is
available in the Dove and in the Welcome Center and Church Office.
Remembrance Book
We will celebrate All Saints on November 1st and 2nd. On this day, we
celebrate the whole people of God, living and dead. We remember those
who have died in the faith who now serve God around the heavenly throne.
A “Book of the Dead” stands near the baptismal font on these weeks
leading toward All Saints to allow us to write the names of those baptized
friends and loved ones we wish to remember in prayer, who now rest from
their labors.
Remember…..next Sunday we will be going to our fall schedule with
services on at 8:30am and 11am. The Saturday service begins at the same
time 5pm. A second reminder – Daylight Savings time ends. Set your
clocks back one hour…..

Coffee Hour
Do you enjoy sharing friendship, coffee, and goodies between worship
services starting November 2nd? Did you know there is a signup sheet on the
door going into the Welcome Center? The Navigators cannot do this job
alone. What would happen if our navigator’s turned in their resignations?
Probably “NO” Coffee hour. Let’s hope we get some volunteers to sign up
so this doesn’t happen…It’s up to you, the congregation, if this continues!!~
