Maintaining Your Instrument
As you begin to prepare for fall and winter performances,
make sure you are aware of how to maintain your
instrument. For some useful tips, feel free to stop in and
speak to one of our staff for help or a short lesson, or refer
to our maintenance tips.

Meet Kayla Comerford, Educational Strings
Coordinator, Chicago
Kayla studied violin under Stefan Milenkovich, Margot
Ehrlich, and Vadim Mazo. Though she is classically
trained, her focus now lies in improvisation and creating
roles for strings in alternative music. Kayla joined the
William Harris Lee family a year ago, where she heads up
all rentals, and manages all tours and social engagement
in Chicago. She works at our Chicago store on the fifth
floor of the landmark Fine Arts Building, just two blocks
south of Symphony Center, where we serve our Chicago
clientele and customers who stop in from all over the
world. Tuesday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and
Saturday from 10-5.
