All Souls’ Day
Welcome! We, the parish community of St. Michael Catholic
Church in Van Buren, Arkansas, know that we are part of the Body
of Christ. Our call is to make Christ present in our own lives and
the lives of those with whom we associate. We do this through
prayer, the celebration of the sacraments, religious education, and
the example of our lives of faith, hope, and love.

“I
will not reject anyone who comes to me,
because I came down from heaven not to do
my own will but the will of the one who sent
me. And this is the will of the one who sent
me, that I should not lose anything of what he
gave me, but that I should raise it on the last

Trunk or Treat a great success! Thank you to all who took part in our annual Trunk or Treat
event! The participation was great with parents bringing their costumed children to the evening
of games and treats. Thanks to the many people who opened their trunks and provided games
for the children, and many thanks all the people who donated candy, more than ever before. It
was an exciting evening and all who supported it with their labor or gifts are much appreciated.
A very special thanks goes to Andrea Chick for being in charge of the event.
