OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME: The overall objective is to support the National AIDS Programme (the Subdit AIDS) of the MoH in achieving quality preparation, implementation and result of the test and treat project which is in collaboration with The Kirby Institute and National Universities, as well as other stakeholders. Enhanced support to the MSM intervention program will also be delivered to strengthen the responds to the growing epidemic in MSM. MAIN DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED: In close collaboration with the National AIDS Program, National Institute for Health Research and Development, and the Kirby Institute, the consultant will provide support to the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the test and treat project and the MSM intervention by carrying out the following duties: 1. Prepares correspondence for supervisor’s signature, checking enclosures and addresses. 2. Type correspondence in English or in Bahasa Indonesia in respect of the project work. 3. Translates letters, report and documents from Bahasa Indonesia into English and viceversa and assists in interpretation, as required. 4. Arranges appointments for supervisor, receives visitors, places and screens telephone calls, responds to routine requests for information. 5. Types a wide variety of materials from drafts, printed test and dictating machines. 6. Support in the development and finalization of report in coordination with consultant who is responsible for the project. 7. Support the national consultant in providing routine support to the sites of test and treat implementation research and in monitoring the implementation. 8. Support the national consultant in coordination with the protocol committee. 9. Provides all secretarial assistance to all the consultants assigned to the project. 10. Makes travel arrangements for in-country field visits for the supervisors and consultants in consultation with the national authorities concerned. 11. Maintains office records and reference files on various matters covered by the project. 12. Provides secretarial /typing assistance to the WR office, if and when required. 13. Coordinate with partner universities with regard to financial requirements, reports and ensure all financial procedures required are fulfilled. 14. Performs other related duties as assigned. Able to work supervision independently with minimum Essential: Completion of secondary education, supplement by secretarial training Desirable: NA Experience: Essential: Minimum three years of experience in secretarial work in government, business and professional office, experience in an international organization an advantage Desirable: NA Languages: Other Skills (e.g. IT): Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia Good communication skills in English, both oral and written as well as good interpersonal skills Able to use computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint), and internet.
