Thank You
Thank you to everyone for your cards, prayers, calls and visits.
I'm ahead in my recovery and I feel the prayers played the
biggest role in it. There's no doubt in my mind God was in the
operating room with me.
Duane Dubbs
The Social Concerns Committee wishes to thank everyone who
contributed to our hoagie sale last weekend, especially the
religious education students for taking orders and our fellow
parishioners who bought them or gave a donation. The profit
towards our Haiti Twinning Project was $769.71.
Thank you to everyone who welcomed us into the Most Holy
Trinity family with gifts, cards, and Christian love! We thank all
of you.
Donald and Carole Gibboney
I want to thank every one who sent sympathy and Mass cards.
I especially appreciate all the support and love Sandy and I were
shown for the last three years with her battle with Alzheimers.
Thank you again.
-Bob Colton
Queen of Peace Prayer Group
Do you know how to pray the rosary? Maybe you are
unfamiliar with the rosary, or only remember it as a prayer form
from years ago? The Queen of Peace Prayer Group meets
most every Monday at 4:30pm in the Daily Mass Chapel to
pray. Our Blessed Mother is so happy when we pray to her
Son thru her intercession. The daily Mass readings are also
proclaimed and discussed. We would love to have you join us.
If you need a ride or have any questions, please call Penny at
669-1393.

3:00 p.m. Clean up ends by about 7:00 p.m. Contact George
Lightner (669-1964) or Sister Kate (643-0160) for details.

Prayer for others...is the very beat of a
compassionate heart. To pray for a friend who is ill,
for a student who is depressed, for a teacher who is
in conflict; for people in prison, in hospitals, on battlefields—is
not a futile effort to influence God’s will, but a hospitable
gesture by which we invite our neighbors into the center of our
hearts. To pray for others means to allow their pains and
sufferings, their anxieties and loneliness, their confusion and
fear to resound in our inner-most selves... It is in and through
us that God’s Spirit touches them with his healing presence.”
