Coming Events
~~Prayer Requests~~
We are only five days away from our annual
Harvest Party! If you’ve helped in the past, you
know how much fun this is for everyone involved,
and it gives the children of our community a safe
alternative to what can be a very dangerous night.
We hope you can help us put on a great event.
AND… it’s time to gather the candy!
Bring a bag to the church by Wednesday if you can.
And PLEASE sign up to help. There are
many different ways you can serve.
Please pray for…
—Dave Stiles’ brother in law, sick with esophageal
cancer. Pray for healing and God’s grace.
—Outreach opportunities for our church into our
local neighborhoods.
—The Lord’s direction on our upcoming Community Tree Lighting Celebration, that the name of
Jesus would be glorified.
—Eric Opland’s sister Katy, sick with strep infection in her blood after recent stem cell transplant.
—Abigail Meglich, missionary in Mexico, in danger from local drug cartels.
—Alan Van Wagner, for God’s mercy and comfort
during difficult times, and that the body would
reach out in love and care.
—Jethro, for healing from pancreas/colon cancer,
and for the grace and peace of Jesus Christ.
—Jerri Graves, recently diagnosed with lymphoma. Pray for strength & comfort in treatment.
Port is in, chemo starts very soon.
—18 Y. O. man in Wisconsin, recovering from
surgery to remove cancerous kidney.
—Tanya, for the Lord’s comfort, and for clear direction for physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
—Dustin, young man with pregnant girlfriend.
Pray they would make godly, biblical choices.
—God’s guidance in investigating the possibility
of having a Christian School at our church.
—The Murphy family, that John’s eyes would be
opened, and Hilda and the kids would be divinely
supported & comforted by the Spirit and the body.
—Sharon’s mom, bleeding behind her eye. Pray
for healing, and especially for her salvation.
Preparations for our Annual Tree Lighting Drama
are in full gear. If you’re involved in the play, thank
you! We know the Lord will bless you and the
community for your sacrifice of time and effort. The
time is coming when we’ll need help with costumes
and sets, so please pray about taking part!
Next Sunday is the International Day of Prayer for
the Persecuted Church. Please remember to keep our
brothers and sisters around the world in prayer. Not
everyone lives with the kind of religious freedom that
our Father has given us in this country. There are copies of a DVD from Voice of the Martyrs on the back
table. Feel free to take one.
It’s time to start preparing for our Annual Community
Christmas Dinner. Each year we provide a free
Christmas Dinner for everyone in our community. This
even has always been well-attended, and a real blessing
to our friends and neighbors. We hope you can help us
do it again this year. Please see Pastor Scott if you’d
like to volunteer to coordinate this project.
Daylight Savings Time Ends Next Sunday!
There is a box on the back table for your tithes and offerings
Give as you are led by the Lord.
