nourishers of your child’s faith. The final class for this
year will be offered on the evening of November 3 .
Call the office to register for your class and for additional information.

Religious Education Program News
(email: StBridgetRE@aol.com)
The Religious Education Program has gotten off to a
great start this year. Our first challenge was “Acts of
Kindness”. Each week students record acts of kindness that they did during the week and have a discussion in class about it. It’s incredible to see how kind
our students are out in our communities. Each special
act is written on a yellow sheet of paper and they are all
posted in the parish hall. If you have a chance please
stop by and read some about the wonderful things they
have been doing. The 6th graders are in the lead with
32 acts of kindness. The total for our program is 157
acts of kindness since we started class on September
21st. This challenge will end on November 30th but I
am sure the acts of kindness will continue.
The Confirmation Class hosted our first Family Mass
this month and did a fantastic job. It was a perfect lead
in to our October Family Fest.
The 6th graders performed the play “Daniel in the Lion’s Den” for the Kindergarten and First Grade classes. The 6th graders worked so hard and even stayed
after class to learn their parts. I would like to give a
shout out to all the 6th graders who did a wonderful
job on the play and were such great role models for
our younger students : Ashley Bruno, Ethan Colon,
Amanda Faubel, Daniel Sarria, Jared Tedesco, Emily
Tippelman, Nina Gianola and Jordan Rossi. Congratulations !
The Holy Communion Class is in the leading the way
in our Canned Goods Collection. The final challenge
our program is involved in is a Penny Drive. Each
class is collecting pennies to see which class can collect the most and the money will to go to a charity at
Christmas time.
The next Family Mass will be our Thanksgiving Mass
on November 26th at 7:30PM, hosted by our 6th graders. Our students have been giving back in so many
ways this year and we just started. Not only are they
learning about their faith, but also about living that
faith in their everyday lives. Stay tuned to learn about
the caring things happening in our Religious Education Program.
