There will be no Mass Friday November 28th November 16, 2014 Thirty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time SUNDAY NOV. 16th AT 8:45 MASS THERE WILL BE MASS FOR THOSE READY TO MOVE FORWARD IN OUR PARISH RCIA PROCESS The initial inquiry (precatechumenate) period for our parish’s group of inquirers will be moving into the second state, with our first opportunity for unbaptized inquirers to go through the Rite of Acceptance in the Order of Catechumens, and baptized inquirers to go through the Rite of Welcoming. The first phase of the journey of initiation has been a time for seekers to hear the mystery of Christ proclaimed. The inquirers have consciously and freely sought the living God and entered the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. We ask you to please pray for the inquirers as they continue their conversion journey and for our RCIA process as we assist them in moving toward a closer relations with God. There will be Arts and Crafts Vendors, Indian Tacos, Bake Sale, Soft Drinks etc. The Craft show is a fundraiser for the OKC Elder Council to underwrite its membership and Charitable activities. OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE MASS Will be celebrated in English on December 12th, at 9:00 a.m. EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS On November 22nd and 23rd all the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will be given the permission for 3 years by giving them a certificate. I am requesting all the Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion to be present on these days of Mass. THE SOLEMNITY OF CHRISTMAS is coming very soon and let us make it more meaningful both spiritually and externally by decorating our church. I would like to invite people who would like to donate Christmas Poinsettias in honor of a deceased person in the family. The poinsettias will be placed at the altar in their name. THANKSGIVING Thanksgiving is a celebration of expressing our gratitude to God for our survival. It is the custom and tradition in the church to bring the products from fields to the altar and offer to God. On this Thanksgiving day, I would like to invite you to bring some fruits, vegetables, bread and some other items as the symbols of our gratitude by placing them at the altar. You are free to do it.
