Bishop of Prince Albert
Greetings of peace and joy as we reach mid-November
with sporadic snowfalls promising us winter will soon
be here!
Restorative Justice Week in Canada is November 16-23,
2014. This special week has been established, I believe,
to help us become more aware of wrong doings, of
bullying, and of crime in our society.
The Gospel challenges us to be forgiving, to be
compassionate by extending a helping hand to those
who have been hurt through the violence and anger of
others and to share in the acts of Christ by being
merciful to all those whose journey in life has led to
incarceration.
So, let us open our hearts to the needs of others by
praying, by sharing our time, and being a part of their
journey. As children of God, we are all responsible for
each other and for the world. Let us bring hope, bring
Christ’s light to others, and change the world.
(Letter and attachment are on the bulletin board. )
PRO-LIFE: That God’s people may use their many talents to
proclaim the sanctity of life in the arenas of business,
media, the arts, and politics, we pray to the Lord.

Once a militant opponent of the Catholic Church, Dr. Scott Hahn
highlights the key misunderstandings people have about the Eucharist.
In this powerful presentation, he explains the Church’s teaching from a
scriptural and historical perspective in an entertaining and thorough
fashion.
Parishioner comments:
This is an absolutely brilliant outline giving biblical proof of the Real
Presence of Christ in the Eucharist!...Mike, Bogota, NJ
