The Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce-USA partners with one
of Sweden’s most prestigious schools, Chalmers University of Technology.
The partnership provides access to highly competitive engineering
students who are eager to come to the U.S. to gain practical and cultural
knowledge.

Since 1963, Chalmers University of Technology has sent thousands of successful students to the U.S. to
undertake internships. The school is a leading institution of research and education within various fields, such as
Architecture & Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering Mathematics, Engineering
Physics, Industrial Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering, Product
Development and Software Engineering.
The students participating in the program have completed at least three years of a five-year master’s program
which corresponds to a B.Sc. This summer, one of Chalmers’ well-educated students could come to assist you
for up to 12 months with various projects, while bringing new ideas to your operations.
As a J-1 visa sponsor, The Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce (SACC-USA) gives your company the
opportunity to host a highly qualified student through our Trainee Program as part of our mission to facilitate
exchange between Sweden and the U.S.
Become a host company
1. Create a short pitch about your company and explain the position in detail by filling out this interest form.
2. SACC-USA assists with the match-making and provides you with applications from candidates relevant to
your position.
3. SACC-USA assists with the J-1 visa application.
4. Intern arrives in June 2015 (date flexible).
