Physical / Occupational Therapy
Moving to Madera Campus
The outpatient physical and occupational
therapy practices of Children’s Hospital
Central California are moving from our location in Fresno to the Hospital’s spacious
Madera campus. This move will greatly
enhance the outpatient therapy services we
provide your patients.
For all appointments scheduled on or after
Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, patients will be seen
in our new facility dedicated to outpatient therapy located directly in front of the
Hospital. Our compassionate staff, which
includes 15 therapists, looks forward to caring
for your patients at our new location.
Designed to meet the specific needs of children undergoing physical and occupational
therapy, the customized remodel of the
8,570-square-foot space will provide a greatly
improved environment for your patients’ treatment sessions. As soon as we set a date for our
open house, we will extend an invitation for
you to tour the facility and discover its many
features and benefits.
Features:
• nearly double the square footage of our
current facility
• close proximity to other services at
Children’s Hospital Central California
• designated treatment areas exclusively for
infants and toddlers
• two spacious gyms with new equipment
• outdoor activity areas protected from foot
and vehicular traffic
• wider hallways to more easily maneuver
wheelchairs and walkers
• larger feeding room to accommodate additional group sessions for patients with oral
motor and sensory feeding issues
• attractive, comfortable waiting room
Benefits:
• enhanced variety of treatment options
• improved sports-related orthopaedic
rehabilitation equipment
• mobility training in a safe and natural
outdoor environment
• parent observation room for parents with
children who perform better without them
in the room to discreetly engage in their
child’s therapy process
