Liverpool Hope is a unique University by virtue of its rich and distinctive nineteenth century foundations. Our long and proud history of preparing teachers dates from 1844 when we began to educate teachers in the Christian tradition for the rapidly growing communities of Liverpool and the wider North West area. Many of our graduate teachers hold distinguished careers around the country and, indeed, elsewhere in the world.
