Parent Thank You
No school can func5on effec5vely without the 5me
and capability of volunteers. The whole school
community would like to thank School Council
members and parents who have assisted with the
variety of subcommi3ees. Chris5na Lambourne and
her many helpers have been fantas5c at
maintaining a well-run uniform shop. Thank you to
those who have helped pack boxes for our move
into the main building, especially the reloca5on of
the Library. It is hard to believe that it only
occurred in April this year. Thank you to parents
who have assisted with swimming lessons,
excursions, guest speakers, student banking, book
club, vegetable patch, baking cupcakes, Kids Hope
Aus, CRE, class representa5ves, Parents Associa5on
and Prep Transi5on. As it is increasingly difficult for
people to a3end the morning tea and 5me is very
precious, you will receive a personal thankyou card
from a variety of Ashburton Primary School staff
members. There are a number of volunteers who
are leaving this year who have gone above and
beyond during their associa5on with our school.
Those people will receive public recogni5on at the
assembly held on December 8. If you are one of
those people, you will receive an invita5on to
a3end.
