ARE RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:
TRAINEE COOK/CHEF
- No experience necessary as full training will be given.
- Would suit someone with a passion for food and desire to
learn.
- You will start as a kitchen assistant learning to prepare food,
wash dishes and basic food hygiene. You will then be
progressively taught how to prepare all dishes and run
lunchtime service.
- You will be encouraged to put forward your own ideas and
recipes and be supported through NVQ qualifications.
- You must be prepared to work as part of a small team. Hours of
work will be 30-35 hrs over five days to include one weekend
day each week and bank holidays.
ASSISTANT COOK/CHEF
- Experience required.
- The desired candidate will have experience of working in a busy
kitchen, knowledge of food preparation and food hygiene.
- You must have the ability to work unsupervised and be
prepared to undertake all roles in a small kitchen.
- You will have the opportunity to develop existing skills and learn
how to run a kitchen, you will be supported through NVQ
qualifications.
- Hours will be approx 35 per week to include one weekend day
and bank holidays. Rates of pay depending on experience.
PART-TIME WAITING STAFF REQUIRED
- Minimum age 18,
- Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be
given.
- Must be able to work at least one weekend day and bank
holidays.
A vacancy has arisen at Stoney Middleton
Parish Council for a Clerk/Responsible
Financial Officer. The successful applicant will
need to be computer literate, have strong
administrative and bookkeeping skills and
ideally possess a working knowledge of local
government law and procedures. A computer
and printer will be provided.
Hours will be 20 per month, and will be paid in
accordance with the NALC LC1 scale starting at
£8.613 per hour. The successful applicant will
be expected to work from home for which an
allowance is given. The Council meet on the
first Monday evening of every month at which
the Clerk’s attendance will be essential.
