Place an “X” in the box. Mary Wright Mary and her husband Tom have been members of St Joseph’s Church since the parish started. Prior to that they were members of St Teresa’s Parish. Together they have been co owners of Wright’s Jewelers since 1979. They have one son, Scott (graduated Pius X 1986) and 4 grandchildren. Mary feels it would be both a privilege and her responsibility to serve on the parish council. Having worked full time in their personal business, Mary is certain her background should help with the position on the parish council. Mary would like to thank you for considering her. Ernie Castillo Ernie and his wife Mary Ann and their children, Erica (8th grade St Josephs) and Julian (5th grade), have been parishioners at St Joseph’s for ten years. Ernie has a Masters Degree in Community & Regional Planning and a BS in Business Administration. Ernie is a planner at City Urban Development Department. The Castillo family coordinated the holiday festival redemption center for four years. They also volunteer in various capacities at St Joseph School. Ernie’s message to the parish family: "I'd like to offer what I can to the parish council in terms of participating, offering ideas, and getting involved at a different level." Don Kucera Don has been a member of St. Joseph church since 1992, has previously served as an usher, and currently is involved in the greeter ministry. Don and his wife Paula have three children; Kate, Anne, and David all who have attended St. Joseph school and then went on to graduate from Pius High School. They have two grandchildren. Don Kucera is vice president of Private Banking with Pinnacle Bank. Don graduated from UNL and is a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, Mortgage Banking School. His background includes 39+ years of banking specializing in real estate lending and private banking. Don currently serves as chair of the CEDARS Youth Services Board of Directors and is also actively involved with several civic and charitable organizations. Paula Grenemeier Paula has been a parishioner of St. Joseph’s since 1998. She and her husband, Jon, were married here in 1999. They have three children. Two are currently attending St. Joseph’s; Jocelyn is in 3rd grade and Eli in 1st. Maryn is 4. Over the years, Paula has been involved in SINE, was a “Godteens” sponsor, adorer in the Adoration Chapel, Children’s Liturgy leader, a member of the Altar Society, and a volunteer at St. Joseph’s school. Paula works as a life-pricing actuary for Allstate. Paula and Jon have known from the beginning that St. Joseph’s is the place for their family. They draw from the parish family and feel blessed that our children can receive a Catholic education. Paula states, “I would be honored to give back in service on the Parish Council. Thank you for your consideration.” Barb Eberhart Barb Eberhart and her husband converted to Catholicism in 2003. Together they moved to Lincoln in 2005 and became part of the St. Joseph Parish. They quickly became involved in the St. Vincent de Paul ministry and participated in a Light of the World weekend seminar. At Barb’s husband’s passing in 2011, the abundance of graces she received from fellow parishioners deepened her love for our beautiful Catholic faith. Barb became a full time member of the Legion of Mary following retirement from school counseling in June 2013. Barb is honored to serve as the current president of that organization. Barb has two married children: Matt and Katie Eberhart and boys, Cole and Luke; Josh and Chelsea Schauer and boys Nate, Ben, Sam and Caleb. They are blessed to all be members of St. Joseph Parish and the boys attend St. Joseph School. They all have been happy to become involved in and part of the spiritual richness and community opportunities at St. Joseph Church. Barb would “consider it a privilege to have an opportunity to serve on the Parish Council of St. Joseph Church which has been such a blessing in her life.” Catholic Schools Week 2015 Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Loving Service St. Joseph School SATURDAY, JANUARY 24, 2015 Celebrating the Communities of our Families SFA Sponsored Activity - “Saturday at the Movies” (A free movie will be shown at The Grand Theatre at 12th and P.
