Reusable Vacuum Filter Bags and Filters
PSI has a new way of
going green and saving
money at the same time.
Reusable Cloth Vacuum
Filter Bags and Filters
ODC-1
for edgers. Using one of
these items will allow you to save money on buying disposable bags or filters over and over and then throwing them away when you could just empty/clean them
and then reuse. A handy way to save the environment
too. Our most popular is the ODC-1 Reusable Vacuum
Filter Bag for Optronics dry edgers. This two piece filter
bag set includes the vacuum bag and filter cover. For
a little more than the cost of one box of the disposable
bags, one reusable cloth bag provides 2-6 months of
reliable service if maintained properly and handled
with reasonable care. The
ODC-1 bag eliminates the
mess of "wet paper bag
failure" because it does not
fall apart when exposed RB-GEN
to moisture when using
the "Water Mist Edge-polishing Feature" on Optronics
dry edgers. The cloth filter cover, included, filters dust
that would normally pass through the vacuum motors
while not becoming clogged like a paper cover. This
improves the removal of lens particulates (poly swarf)
News Update:
You may have noticed that SecurEdge
Plus Blocking Pads no longer have the red
"SecurEdge Plus" printed on the liner but
are All White. This does not affect the
performance of the pad. The pad and liner are
the same materials we have always used. The
only change is that the supplier is no longer
printing the name on it. PSI's stock will be
