Inside – check out what's happening in Old Town | Check out the 2nd floor renovation progress Check out our all-new Winter Break Programs and special events including Magical Breakfast with Santa From the Director’s Desk I just love Fall. It’s such a fun time of year. Leaves begin to turn color, and we enjoy cooler temperatures. And even though these changes mean a long winter is on the way, it’s exciting because it means a change in our everyday routine. When change occurs, new opportunities appear. I am proud to be the new Executive Director of your expERIEnce Children’s Museum. Some of you may remember me from the Erie Zoo, where I served as Marketing and Event Coordinator for over 12 years. I’ve always enjoyed bringing my own children to the Children’s Museum and am passionate about its mission to provide a creative and interactive environment where children experience learning… all while having fun. So much has changed here over the past several months. If you have not renewed your membership or haven’t been a member to the Museum, I encourage you to join. We’ve been updating you on Old Town which is set to open this winter. Kids and parents alike are going to love strolling through Old Town visiting the doctor's office, bank, delicatessen and more! This exhibit was made possible by Dr. Richard and Janine Dreyfus, Northwest Savings Bank and Country Fair. The next time you visit, you’ll notice changes to the second floor. The second floor renovation project is almost complete with fresh new paint on the ceilings and walls, new carpeting and an interactive new exhibit coming in January – thanks to the support of FMC Technologies. The Children’s Museum has such a proud history in the Erie Community, and I look forward to an exciting future! It truly is an exciting time for us. Thanks for your continued support. We hope to see you soon!
