Job Title: WASH Programme Manager (based in Grand Bassa)
Job Purpose: The post holder will ensure planning and implementation of WASH – Health project activities; work closely with the M&E Manager to ensure effective monitoring &
evaluation; contribute to regular programme reviews and organize quality evaluations exercise related to programme intervention (according to the donor contract); ensure the
necessary resources and materials are requested in a timely manner from procurement / logistic department; establish and strengthen collaboration with the Ministry of Health, UN
and other INGOs/NGO, to enhance programme outcome and impact; co-ordinate with other Concern programme sectors and WASH stakeholders to enhance programme quality
and accountability; work closely with other management staff in identifying team needs, and develop recruitment plan for programme staff; oversee and manage workload amongst
WASH programme team, ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are dealt with; assess the training needs of the staff and beneficiaries and to design and implement appropriate
training program.
S/he will work closely with ACDP, BRED Programme Coordinator, National Health Coordinator and Finance team in ensuring effective budget and grants management and to ensure
compliance, effective budget management and maintain high quality financial and narrative reporting in a timely manner.

Essential Requirements: Relevant Master’s degree in Public Health/ Engineering, Programme Management, International Development Studies, Community Development, or
equivalent; At least 7 years’ experience in a similar or associated role; Good knowledge of managing and delivering WASH programme intervention; Excellent understanding of
humanitarian aid and development programming; Experience in working with consortium for development and humanitarian, funding as well as negotiation of programmatic and
financial contractual arrangements with donors and partners to deliver programme; Experience in programme planning , implementation and monitoring and evaluation; ability to
identify opportunities to develop prospects and execute them, using new approaches or techniques as fits your view of the opportunity and prospects identified; Excellent report
writing ability.
