POSITION SUMMARY: The Development Associate supports the CEO in the cultivation of members and donors, database management, special event planning, grant writing, file management, campaign and pledge correspondence and departmental reporting. Special Events: 10.Schedule meetings, take and distribute minutes, and track and manage the work of the committee. 11.Work closely with Event Chairs in the creation of meeting agendas and recruitment of committee members. 12.Work to ensure that all committee members participate and that assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner. 13.Coordinate with and oversee caterers, venues, and rental companies. 14.Complete raffle license application and reporting requirements. 3 15.Develop and steward relationships with event donors and sponsors. 16.Conduct an event evaluation at the conclusion of each event.
